Three Strand Cord operates as a support and conduit organization to the efforts of churches and other organizations spreading the love of Christ. Three Strand Cord has focused its work in the following areas:
Short Term Mission Teams
Three Strand Cord supports local churches within the United States who have long assisted overseas missionaries by sending short-term teams to aid work being accomplished in international locations. Through short-term missions teams, construction, medical, and evangelistic programs can be undertaken beyond the capacity of the missionary acting alone. Recognizing the power of the work done by these teams, the program identifies unfilled needs and finds funding and materials to meet those needs. In addition, Three Strand Cord pools the knowledge acquired through these projects to aid teams in maximizing effectiveness. In-Country Mission Programs
After the trips are completed, Three Strand Cord attempts to maintain relationships with the missionaries working abroad by continuing to provide supplies and materials needed to support their ongoing efforts. Currently at work in Peru, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, Three Strand Cord is striving to establish "oases" where believers can build viable communities that can move forward to change the fate of their nation.
Support of Growing Ministries
Leveraging its administrative capabilities, Three Strand Cord helps groups that need support to begin and enhance their capabilities, including fundraising and reporting.
Local Food Packing Projects
Three Strand Cord attempts to engage participants of short term mission work by providing continuing opportunities for them to serve in similar programs closer to home. Packing food for malnourished children with Kids Against Hunger is a great way to serve. For more information, please click here.
Haiti Earthquake Relief
In the wake of the overwhelming devastation caused by the natural disasters in Haiti, Three Strand Cord is working with our in-country partners to alleviate the suffering. For more information for what we are accomplishing in that country, please click here.
Three Strand Cord accomplishes its goals by partnering with organizations, corporations and nonprofit organizations in order to provide a clearinghouse for mission trippers, missionaries, and local participants. Further, Three Strand Cord raises independent funds provide for specific needs of all programs.
