Three Strand Cord is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt organization with programs designed to create and promote lasting change in international settings. Non-denominational and cross-cultural, Three Strand Cord partners with many organizations all over the globe. Although based on Biblical values, Three Strand Cord is not a religious organization.
Three Strand Cord relies almost entirely on the hard work and commitment of a great number of volunteers. Volunteers raise money, find and donate supplies and coordinate the distribution of all that Three Strand Cord has collected.

Board of Directors:
Brent Wertz, Chair
Brent Wertz is a principal at Wertz York Capital Management Group. Beginning in 2002, he has taken regular missions trips to Caribbean and South America and in 2005 began Three Strand Cord in order to further supply missions trips and missionaries. Brent is a member of South Tampa Fellowship where he has served on the Missions, Finance and Pastoral Search committees. Brent is married with two daughters.
Karin Hotchkiss, Advising Physician
Dr. Hotchkiss received her medical degree from the University of Florida, College of Medicine and completed her surgical residency in Ears, Nose, Throat at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine. She currently practices Pediatric ENT in Tampa, Florida. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Jeff Huenink
Jeff is a former member of the Florida Legislature serving as a State Representative. Jeff has previously served as a board member of Moffitt Cancer Center, The University of South Florida and Bay Cities Bank. Jeff has three children Kelly, Courtney and Jeffrey. Jeff is a member of South Tampa Fellowship Church.
Tim Paskert
Tim has served various rolls with outreach ministries to neighborhoods, inner cities, disaster areas and numerous short term mission trips to foreign countries. Since 1998 he has served as a bible teacher and chaplain for various organizations, including as Teaching Director for Community Bible Studies. In 2003, Tim established Hannah Rose Productions and recently filmed The Troubadour. Tim has been married for over 20 years to his college sweetheart, Chandra. They have 4 children.
Monnie Wertz
Monnie Wertz is the Associate Dean of Students at the University of Tampa. Interested in education and its effects at home and abroad, Monnie is working to develop Three Strand Cord's educational programs for volunteers before and after their short term mission involvement. Monnie is a member of South Tampa Fellowship and is a married mother of two.

Elizabeth Huston, Executive Director
Elizabeth comes to Three Strand Cord after completing her Master’s in Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of South Florida. Before receiving her graduate degree, Elizabeth spent 5 years in nonprofit administration with the American Society for Microbiology in Washington, D.C.
